Sores
It is a raw or painful place on the body. It is a source of stress and discomfort. It can be considered as an ulcer present anywhere on the body. You may feel pain, itching, redness, discomfort, swollen skin. It ranges from mild to severe stages.
Causes of Sores
Causes of sore include the herpes complex virus and it is the most common reason behind this skin disorder. Some other causes are smallpox, eczema, chickenpox, and other allergic reactions. It can also result if we take extended bed rest and using a wheelchair as they cause pressure sores. Autoimmune disorders, diabetes, peripheral artery, peripheral neuropathy, and cancers are also the cause of sores.

Boils
Boils are deep folliculitis which is the skin infection of the hair follicle and it is caused by the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and you may feel swelling, itching, and redness. As we know it is a bacterial infection so we can treat it by using antibiotics.
Causes of Boils
It is caused by the bacteria called bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and it commonly affects the skin area near the nose and skin. It forms pus on the skin. It can also be caused by small skin injury and insect bites.
Symptoms of Boils
Pus may or may not be present on the lump. There is also a chance that pus may appear after some time therefore the presence of pus is not a very obvious symptom or benchmark for diagnosis of skin boils. You can easily identify boils if you experience any of the following symptoms:
- Skin infections
- Redness
- Itching
- Warm
- Swelling
- Fever
- Lymph nodes swelling
Treatment
As boils are caused due to bacteria, your dermatologist might prescribe some bactericidal or bacteriostatic antibiotics to stop the infection from spreading further on the skin.
